I was reading my ESPN the magazine and I ran across a segment by the Chicago outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas. They did a little segment that many people in the cubicle world has heard that March Madness results in billions of lost productivity.

I hear this all the time and that the first week when people are making their brackets and when they are busted up in round one is where so much time is lost. Then the attention tends to die down but the damage has been done. Millions of hours gone to the love of March Madness.

See, Challenger Gray Christmas can put a dollar value not by using polls but by gathering statistics on productivity, average salaries, and an estimate of time to come up with a guess. It's not exactly rocket science but this is a general snippet of what was lost in a week. (more…)

75th NFL Draft – Make A MLM List

So exactly is the fuss about the 75th NFL Draft?

Well for one, this is where teams are able to grab talent to build their team and hopefully compete. There are many unknowns to what a player is actually capable of and teams take giant risks to hopefully find something that fits for them.

Denver Broncos taking Tim Tebow as the 25th overall pick was a surprise to many just for the fact he's not a typical NFL quarterback. Every team ranks the entire pool of players on overall best talent and then their own position needs. So sometimes teams will reach for players regardless if there position needs to fill. So what the heck is it and why is everyone and their momma’s spamming it on Facebook these days? I decided to do a bit more looking and here are some of the things that caught my attention.

Websites for tbatwo for an “internet marketing company” are hard to find but from what I've seen tbaco.com, tbatwo.com, and theboldapproach.com. I will touch on these websites a bit more in future posts.

Here are some of the regurgitated blasts you must have seen by now:

What Ninja Assassin Taught Me About MLM Opportunity Payment

What did Ninja Assassin teach me about choosing a MLM Opportunity?

I know right? What the heck does ninjas, smoke bombs, guys running around pajamas, throwing stars, nun chucks, and hired assassins have to do with choosing a MLM Opportunity?

I’m not saying Ninja’s in the movie or even in real life, if they exist still are the most savvy business people but after watching the movie Ninja Assassin staring Jeong Ji-hoon also known as his stage name Rain. To take a tangent, I think it’s pretty cool a Korean pop singer/dancer can come into a film called Ninja Assassin and look and feel the part. Well, take away the fact he can slice people in half yet he only sustains flesh wounds is another subject altogether.

I’m not here to tell you the movie is worth seeing, it is, but from while watching this action packed movie I didn’t expect to come away with anything besides being entertained by the sight of reliving my childhood dressed as a ninja for Halloween for many years in Elementary School. Another tangent, I thought I was freaking cool that my brother and I were the only kids in our school that had ninja outfits. Not just regular ninja outfits but a full set one white and one black that were custom made, thanks mom! We had the fake plastic nun chucks but then realized they made foam padded ones and it was only a matter of time one of us was crying from beating ourselves over the head swinging one or heating each other.
