Challenger Gray Christmas – Value Of Lost Productivity In A Week, March Madness

I was reading my ESPN the magazine and I ran across a segment by the Chicago outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas. They did a little segment that many people in the cubicle world has heard that March Madness results in billions of lost productivity.

I hear this all the time and that the first week when people are making their brackets and when they are busted up in round one is where so much time is lost. Then the attention tends to die down but the damage has been done. Millions of hours gone to the love of March Madness.

See, Challenger Gray Christmas can put a dollar value not by using polls but by gathering statistics on productivity, average salaries, and an estimate of time to come up with a guess. It's not exactly rocket science but this is a general snippet of what was lost in a week. (more…)

Explanation To Why I Changed My Mind About Numis Network

I had written a review about the Numis Network where their primary product is gold and silver collectible coins. I straight up stated I am NOT a coin collector let alone and expert.

I'm not even going to say I'm an expert now.

I had a wave of comments about how I really just needed to look at bit deeper. In my previous review I was worried about saturation but didn't realize how large the market segment was, that there was no other competing mlm opportunities, and is a network marketing company with huge growth potential due to no rep saturation.

You can either love or hate newer companies mainly due to the fact you don't have history but that is where it has it's advantage.

Would you rather have joined these large MLM Companies when they have millions of reps or when it only had 1 thousand? Personally, I would rather go in when it wasn't a household name and only had 1 thousand. (more…)

Is Bashing Other MLM Companies Not Okay Even If Their Middle Name Is Ponzi Scheme?

So I had a student of mine who recently read one of my company reviews recently and didn't like what I had to say. For the most part I am pretty indifferent to companies and just give out some simple facts and lead to the fact that their upline and company doesn't give a rats arse about them in marketing.

Building mlm companies through friends and families can work and that is how most companies are built. I give a solution to helping reps in those businesses to realize there are other ways to generate leads and the Internet is one big one I personally utilize.

But with this strategy you will be bound to step on toes. Why? You can't be right 100% of the time but guess what, this is why this is YOUR opinion. Even if your data is incorrect you should encourage reps in those businesses to come and leave you a message that maybe you don't have the correct entry level price or maybe you had some facts incorrect.

That being the case you just received feedback making your blog or review post all the more relevant with more traffic. The more attention you can gather the better.

Of course if you do it just for the shock factor that is not something I recommend and shouldn't be used to generate traffic. Kind of like calling something a scam only to say this is the best mlm company ever.

But you know what, when your researching hundreds of different companies looking to see who would be a good candidate for review you are bound to run into some ponzi schemes. (more…)
