So what exactly is the Best MLM Opportunity?
A MLM Opportunity is a network marketing company where products and/or services are rendered through the work of commission based representatives in a tiered paid structure. Reps in the business are compensated for their own sales and also the sales of those they train in their own mlm downline. The benefit of this business model is that anyone can come in and generate a very healthy income just by making some direct sales and managing a team of other reps who make sales. Since this is strictly a commissioned based industry, only those who can make sales and teach others in their mlm downline to do the same will stay profitable in this type of business.
Don’t get a MLM Opportunity confused with a J.O.B
A J.O.B is trading time for money where a MLM Opportunity is leveraging your time and a portion of your mlm downline’s time to generate sales volume. This type of leverage allows more freedom in life as you will still be making money when your not actively working.
It’s the theory of why 100% of your time isn’t as effective as 1% of 100 people.
So what is the Best of the Best? Which MLM Opportunity do I really believe is the best?
MLM Opportunity criteria I wanted to touch on
- How much competition is out there?
- It’s competition from competing companies in the same market place – EX: Juice has a ton of competing companies. Are you going to be able to cut through the clutter and really show why your juice is better?
- It’s competition from within the company - EX: How many reps are there in the company? These reps could potentially steal your ideal prospects if you’re not working fast enough. Rep saturation is a problem especially offline if everyone in your town has been exposed to your opportunity already (EX: Amway)
- How easy is it to sell?
Many reps in the industry fall into the trap set by their upline that this is not selling but sharing. I’m sorry, that is a load of crap.
If you are in a mlm opportunity or looking to join one you are only there as a paid commissioned rep to move volume. That’s it. Plain and simple. Sure you can sugar coat it that you’re “sharing” the opportunity, but in the end you need to move volume. Volume only comes when you are aggressive in marketing your mlm opportunity and products/services.
So this leads us to “How easy is it to sell”?
Let’s say you have found a juice that helped your diabetes. So you feel if this juice is the real deal you wanted to go ahead and make a living out of it. If you were aggressive in your approach and were able to get in front of a target audience of other diabetics then this product would sell.
But what are the chances you will be able to sell enough? That is the real question.
Juice normally takes 30-60 days to start noticing effects if any in test runs so you will have to be forking over bottles just to win over customers. If they don’t notice a difference you’re going to be spending a lot of money on product samples. What other ANGLE will you have for those who don’t have diabetes?
What if the target market you are speaking with is already on a juice that is helping their condition? Then what? You have to convince your target audience that yours is cheaper, more effective, and just overall better? You’re splitting hairs at this time. Winning a customer over can take a long time.
What do you make on personal sales? If the sale isn’t easy, why are you spending so much time convincing people? Shouldn’t your products sell themselves?
If your product was universally understood how much easier would it be to move?
Are you giving away your product as samples or are people waiting in line to take your products?
See if my product was at a trade show I would NEVER give my product away as samples where other companies would want to give away free samples. My MLM Opportunity is self explanatory in that I don’t have to convince someone they NEED or WANT it.
- Are you trying to move a Traditional MLM Opportunity Online?
I teach many reps in different mlm opportunities on how to build their business with online marketing strategies. This ranges from teaching video marketing to more advanced pay per click skills. In a perfect world every single company can make it online but…
Every Single MLM Opportunity is DIFFERENT!
If they were not different then we could just close our eyes and just pick one out of a hat.
But this is not the case.
The reason we picked or looking to join a network marketing company is because we feel it has the best chance of making us money. But sometimes we forget some simple principles.
Conversions online and offline will always be dependent on the company and products being sold.
EX: A company dealing with Juice that is trying to market online. Juice has a need to get the customers to “try” the product with home parties and tasting parties. How can you do this online? Explosive growth online is dependent on being able to “sell” to your audience. If your product needs to be experienced first hand, the delay of products sold and new reps sponsored will be dependent on when they can get the product in hand for the most part. So if you’re with a juice company and not doing home parties the best way for you to build that company is to let the product sell itself which means sending out product to customers or directing your potential customers to tasting parties close to them. This built in delay could be the difference from someone staying in the business or leaving.
If your company heavily teaches home parties and you want to skip all of that by jumping online, you are going against what made the company large in the first place. Personal touch and first hand experience.
There is a reason why uplines want you to do home parties. If you skip this step and jump straight online your conversions will suffer. So even though network marketing is a numbers game instead of signing up 10% of the reps you come in contact with you might only sponsor 0.50%. That is a huge difference in commissions.
This is not to say you can’t build a business online that is heavy into home parties but you’re missing the whole point of making money.
Do you want to make money the EASY way or the HARD way?
Are you promoting the business to make them money even though it’s hard to do online without home parties or are you trying to make YOU money? Remember; stick with the reason why you’re doing the business.
It’s To Make YOU Money
Wouldn’t it just make sense if you’re trying to build a business from home to build a MLM opportunity that was built for the internet? One where you don’t have to have someone consume product or try it first hand?
This is the ONLY MLM Opportunity that I found that can do that, but I’ll touch on it more later.
Most reps have a 30-90 day window. If they are not making money the first thing they will do is look at what it is costing them to stay in business. If they come to the notion it is cheaper to just be a customer versus a paying distributor, guess what they will do next?
Yep – Cancel their Autoship
- Retention Rates Per Company Are Different
Autoship is the monthly dues for your distributors in your mlm downline. For the most part, this is where your residual lies. If your have 100 people in your downline you better hope they are either making sales per month or on autoship. This is why every company recommends having your reps on autoship to qualify for commissions. If they are making sales they need to be on autoship to qualify for any commissions that are due.
This is the sticky area.
In 60 to 90 days if your downline realizes it’s costing them more money to be IN the business than just being a customer they will stop doing the business. See you have a small window to teach them how to close new reps and make more sales. If they don’t the monthly autoship will eat their lunch.
Ex: I was with a juice company with the auto ship and tax plus shipping and handling came out to around $145 per month. The autoship was built in to have left over bottles of juice for tasting parties. I wasn’t doing tasting parties and so were many of the people in my team.
There was a 60-90 day window for my team to figure out if they could make money and break even with this opportunity. How long really depends on the person but if they realize they can not sponsor enough or make enough sales to cover the autoship the only 2 options left are to cut the autoship and be a customer at a ¼ of the cost or just cancel altogether.
See most get into the business for the opportunity. If the opportunity isn’t lucrative then their will be a decision if the product really is worth buying. If so autoships normally are 4x the amount necessary.
Shoot, you can even buy as a customer from a bulk distributor and save even more money. See this is the bigger issue. Uplines who are buying in bulk will always undersell you so the product you have extra will not be easily moved online.
So you have to decide if your in the best MLM Opportunity or looking at what are the chances your team and yourself will cut your autoship? If you and your team don’t sponsor a soul and make any sales how long will it be before you cut the monthly autoship?
That really depends on if you wanted the product or service in the first place. If you were going to buy it in the first place at that monthly amount then being a distributor just makes sense because normally as a rep you will get a discount anyways. I looked long a hard trying to decide which had the best chance of retaining a team and if my team didn’t make any sales or sponsor anyone would they stay with the company?
I found my answer.
From all of the juice, beauty products, coffee, adult toys, books, technology services, travel……
At what point would a rep just quit because it wasn’t worth stay as a rep on autoship?
Then I looked and found: What happen if your autoship and physical product was REAL GOLD AND SILVER
What are the chances someone is going to cut their autoship if they were being shipped real assets to their mail box?
- What I Chose As My MLM Opportunity
So in the end of searching I needed to decide on:
- Competition from other companies and rep saturation
- How easy is it to sell
- Will the conversion drop going Online? Are home parties required to sell?
- How are the retention rates for reps if they make no sales or no signups?
Taking these core issues and many others I decided to move to My Primary MLM Opportunity Company which I believe is the best of the best.
Numis Network as an Independent Customer Representative (ICR) and why I chose it:
- Never in network marketing history has there been a company with GRADED silver and gold collectible coins. Competition within the company isn’t a factor since there are less than 10k reps now with HUGE potential.
- I don’t have to convince people the value of assets. There is no delay to having someone try my product cause they already know what it is and why they want it.
- I don’t have to convince people they want more assets in gold and silver. When I shoot videos there is not “eat it, where it, try it”. It’s already understood and this is why online marketing suits this company just fine. Offline parties will of course help conversions but I plan to dominate it online today.
- Asset diversification and understanding what graded collectible silver and gold coins are worth in the past is all I needed to know.
Being in a couple of MLM Opportunities and figuring out the different niches and what really works online these 4 principles just stood out.
Would you rather have 12 months of left over juice, pills, and even services that “might” save you money? If you didn’t sponsor a soul and make no sales what do you really have after 12 months?
Personally I would rather have 12 months of gold and silver that are physical assets that add to my total wealth.
That’s the entire reason of getting into a MLM Opportunity anyways right? Isn’t it to make money and increase your Wealth?
In an ideal world anyone jumping into a business will just make money but in the real world that can take time. If your not flexible in what it costs to maintain the business how long do you have before you quit? Would you quit if you were still getting a benefit, probably not.
I achieved the 2nd highest obtainable rank in the entire company, 4 Star Rank, in 6 days. I won’t even go into the compensation plan but trust me when it’s geared to keep people happy until they build their residual big enough to retire on. The whole point is to make money more efficiently. Work smarter not harder.
Join my team at the executive level and let me show you how I generate leads even for free. The whole idea is to get numbers and convert those numbers.
I can show you how to get qualified prospects and show you how I close. Online marketing takes time and too many get lost in it. Sometimes people forget the fastest way between 2 points is a straight line. Remember why your in business.
It’s to make money and generate wealth to your name.
Engineering Your Success,
Lawrence Tam
