FHTM Review

Network marketing gives people the opportunity to work from the convenience of their homes and make money in the form of commissions, not only on the sales done by them; but also on the business done by the chain of people recruited by them. The Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing program is one such opportunity that has a wide range of products for distributors to promote and a compensation plan to match. However, just the fact that you can earn from home doesn’t make this an easy-money opportunity. This is a misconception that has resulted in many disappointed distributors.

Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of FHTM as an MLM opportunity and see if it lives up to the hype in this FHTM Review.

The company was founded by Paul Orberson, an expert salesman who’s experienced firsthand the benefits of being a distributor for a good MLM business. He left Excel Telecommunications to launch FHTM in 2001 in Lexington, Kentucky. The business has a vitamin product, True Essentials; this is the only product that’s manufactured by them. The MLM also distributes several other products through its network of representatives; the company acts as an affiliate for major brands and promotes their products.

FHTM Reviews of Costs And Compensation

The cost to join this business opportunity is $299. Expect to spend more for websites. Reps also have to buy a minimum of 3 products.

While the steep investment is a factor to consider before taking up the business, we also have to consider the compensation plan and see if the returns match the outlay.

FHTM’s compensation may be in the form of bonuses or residual payments. While residual payments are targeted towards building the incomes of managers at high levels in the business, bonuses are aimed to give an impetus to new entrants and reps at lower levels to grow their business. Commissions range between 2 and 25% of sales value depending on your level. Business Managers also get to earn between $100 and $342 each time a new recruit joins their team.

The Downside

Don’t be taken in by the seemingly attractive compensation plan. It may not be that easy selling schemes of other companies that are often available at cheaper rates in the market. FHTM marketing only consists of friend and family pitching.

FHTM Reviews of Competition

ACN Inc. – ACN Inc is a strong competitor that deals in telecommunication services; this is another MLM company that has an attractive compensation plan with a decent residual income. ACN has an edge over FHTM because it is a direct dealer while the latter is just an affiliate.

Lightyear Wireless- This is a 15 year old MLM that deals in communication solutions. This has a low investment of $49 and is considered a good business in this field.

Amway – This is one of the most popular network marketing companies and deals in a wide range of products. Amway’s products boast of excellent quality and it has a health and nutrition range that’s a direct competition. Taking up an Amway business may turn out to be more profitable because reps earn by selling products as well as bringing in people, while in Fortune Hi-Tech, distributors are compelled to keep recruiting people in order to make good money.

FHTM Review – Making A Fortune?

Though it has its drawbacks, this is an established company and a legitimate business to take up. Most reps claim this to be a scam because they’ve not made much money in this business; but this may be due to their blinkered attitude. People generally consider only friends and relatives as customers in an MLM setup. Just think where we’d be if big corporate had adopted the same attitude.

Change this attitude and reach out to people through MLM leads. MLM lead generation training is your key to interested customers and prospective recruits. Try online tools that are proven to be efficient in gathering leads. This is sure to boost your business volume and get you new recruits. It is amazing how so many people can just get things wrong and boast about it. My wife and I have been witn FHTM for three years now. Everything I was told then and now has been true. If we work we get paid. You generate your own income. Nobody hands it to you. You must go out and get it. If that is not for you then get punching the clock. Will FHTM make you rich over night or ever. That is completely up to you. While I was on active duty, my wife was part of atleast 6 other network marketing companies. FHTM is the only one that we have found that gives you the chance to make some real money. Yes it takes time, yes it takes work and yes you the person you see in the mirror is the one that has to do it. If you have some drive, some goals you have not reached yet and you need a vehicle to get you there. FHTM is the one.

When will you make your move away from FHTM, because right now you have the option to move your team, in a few months you may not have a team to move. Loyalty is a honorable trait to have, but you need to have loyalty to the people who really made you successful … your team. Without arguing the legitimacy of the law suits and the FTC probe, they are in fact happening and there is significant press and many groups (like the person posting below) who are pushing to see FHTM fall. Even the most enthusiastic business opportunity seeker will shy away from so much bad press. This business take hard work and determination to be successful and starting out having to answer “scam” allegations does not make it any easier. Given these facts, do you really see FHTM as the opportunity it was a few years ago when the current day leaders were getting involved. You (or your team) will be making a move, the question is will you control the move or will outside forces.

Hey its just like any biz . I been in the retail business for 20+years I hear customers always bitching about prices even at where I have worked but where do I see them still shopping at. There are a lot of haters in this world! Always blaming and can’t stand someone to succeed in life because they don’t have the will too. I seen a old post of someone talking BS about fhtm and electricity well hello they offer it through their website and only being around for 12 or 13 years they are in the top 100 business listed.

FHTM MAKES IT ON THE LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FTC Steps Up Efforts Against Scams That Target Financially-Strapped Consumers
More Than 90 Actions Brought By Commission and Its Law Enforcement Partners

The Federal Trade Commission today stepped up its ongoing campaign against scammers who falsely promise guaranteed jobs and opportunities to “be your own boss” to consumers who are struggling with unemployment and diminished incomes as a consequence of the economic downturn.

“Operation Empty Promises,” a multi-agency law enforcement initiative today announced more than 90 enforcement actions, including three new FTC cases and developments in seven other matters, 48 criminal actions by the Department of Justice (many of which involved the assistance of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service), seven additional civil actions by the Postal Inspection Service, and 28 actions by state law enforcement agencies in Alaska, California, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

In a press conference at the FTC, David Vladeck, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, was joined by Tony West, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice; Greg Campbell, Deputy Chief Inspector of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service; North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper; and a California consumer who had bought into a program to start his own Internet business.

According to FHTM:
FHTM is no longer authorized to use the DuPont name, logo, or trademark in any way. FHTM should immediately discontinue the use of any materials containing the DuPont logo. Our right to use DuPont’s name, logo and trademark was revoked because FHTM abused the system by creating and distributing unapproved marketing materials that displayed the DuPont logo.

According to the real world:
How can this be true when the DuPont logo has been part of the FHTM corporate created business presentation DVD for years? The only reason they blame the reps for this is to shield themselves from a major trademark infringement lawsuit. FHTM never had a partnership or any relationship with DuPont, yet they took it upon themselves to represent they did in an effort to make themselves legal. Surprise…surprise.
